New student teacher

News from the English Department (September 2018): We welcome Tammy Tarhini from Seattle at John Lennon School. She will be assisting our English teachers for the whole of the school year. We are very delighted and hope everybody will be able to meet her soon (in class or outside).

"I grew up in Seattle, Washington, among the gorgeous evergreens of the Pacific Northwest region in the States. I studied Biology and Anthropology at the University of Washington in Seattle, but also managed to study abroad in Australia, Germany, and Jordan. I love to travel and to take part in foreign language/cultural exchanges, so I can't wait to meet the teachers, staff, and especially the students at John-Lennon-Gymnasium. I'm so excited to be living and working in Berlin, and I'm looking forward to the year ahead!"
